I am not sure if anyone noticed but the WTWT team implemented a store that now carries a whole slew of business tools and books. It looks like it is powered by Amazon and I just want to thank Herb for doing it. I already bought a book from it...Thanks Herb!

I posted this is the "Generating Traffic" group as well but it seemed to fit both groups interests.

Does anyone have experience using StumbleUpon.com as a traffic generation tool as well as a promotional tool?

These pages have been explicitly recommended by your friends or one of 6,905,172 other websurfers with interests similar to you. Rating these sites you like () automatically shares them with like-minded people – and helps you discover great sites your friends recommend.

Seems like a good way to get targetted traffic.

Debbie, hi,

I just remembered - in MS Office 2007 you can link up Word 2007, Outlook 2007 and MS Office Publisher 2007 and generate broadcast mailings to your list of contacts.

It means you need to put all your contacts into an Outlook address book, and setting up the format of the email is a bit of a fiddle, but I did it and ran mailings to a small group from there for a while.

You'd need to provide way for people to easily remove themselves from your list so you can comply with Can-Spam - but it will work if you're just occasionally mailing to a small group.

what about GetResponse? Anyone tried that one yet? I've heard about it but don't know much about it.
