One word of advice Herb is to please advertise in the correct places.When adding a comment to someones page please do not put an ad there it can be considered as spam and you can lose your Ning account.I suggest you use a signature line when commenting.If you do not know what a signature line is or know how to create one get with me I will be happy to help.

Interesting article by Sean Carton. You definitely have to know what you are getting into. I suppose like anything, you need to work the learning curve. I think its all about relationship marketing and being real with your potential site visitor and/or customer

I've been using Twitter for a month or so and have made a lot of contacts. There are loads of Twitter utilities that help me define niches by keywords and find Tweeters interested in those niches. Then, over time, I hope to develop relationships that lead to mutual value exchange. I'm not doing this to get rich overnight, rather to meet like minded people, learn and offer up whatever I can contribute.

I also use many Ning sites and I like the overall format and the fascinating group permutations and. of course, the members.

Finally, I use Facebook a little and MySpace, a lot. I know that Facebook is supposed to be better and all that, but, I just feel more comfortable on MySpace.

Anyway, Happy New Year to everyone and I wish the best for 2009 for each of you.
