There are many factors to consider when creating a web site and it is important to remember that your company website is often the first point of contact for many of your potential customers. Your site must make the right impression; it must portray your business and the products or services you provide positively, in an easy to read format with clear and easy to use navigation.

Good design allows you to connect to your target audience without them even realizing, but this seamless connection is not just about the graphical impact. The essence of good web site design is to deliver your business message in a well balanced and subtle fashion within the framework set out by your company requirements.

Having a website is a great way for your business to connect with new customers. Unfortunately while building a website has brought instant success for some businesses, it has the potential to be an absolute disaster for others.

Poor website design is often the primary reason for a website’s failure. This is because it fails to engage the user. Of course there are a handful of what seem to be poorly designed websites that ARE successful. One example is CraigsList or Wikipedia. They work because of the primary need that all sites HAVE to have regardless of design...functionality and easy usability.
