Web Services and Tools for Web Designers

Hi,

I hope everyone is enjoying their weekend.

I just returned from a cheap weekend at the beach in a little town called Bang Saen, just South East of Bangkok, Thailand. I feel so much better taking a few days away from the computer.

I have noticed that there doesn't really seem to be much activity in the "Web Design" group, so I thought I might create some.

One of the key factors to my success as a website design, comes from the various web services and tools that I have at my disposal.

These aren't the tools you might think. I am not talking about the necessary tools like an HTML/CSS editor, or Photoshop. No, I am taking about those free (or sometimes paid) web services and tools that are offered on websites by like minded website designers.

We have started a couple of "Article Series" on our blog that we will continue to run every 1 or 2 months; "Web Services and Tools" and "Premium Website Picks".

The purpose of these articles is to highlight those websites that offer a great web service or web tool. Or even a website that provides inspiration to those of us who have our own websites or blogs.

Please feel free to add sites that you think would fit into one of these categories. You can add them to this discussion, or drop us a comment to one of the articles on our blog (Web Services and Tools) ... or both. I'm sure you could use the links.
